Our Story

In the late 2000s, Maikel and Björgvin saw that the earth-shifting changes in the marketing industry‑-the rise of social media, the boom in green products and services, and the need for companies to engage with customers rather than ineffectively bombard them with traditional marketing messages—were creating new opportunities for innovative approaches. In the spring of 2009, Element Six Media sprang to life.

Maikel, Björgvin, and their team of artists and designers craft messages that grow a sense of community around a brand. Element Six uses natural elements and toxic-free materials in designing those messages, an approach that reflects well on any brand. But even a highly creative message isn’t effective unless its results can be measured. Element Six uses sophisticated data analytics and media-impression measurement tools that provide the necessary sense of ROI. They create marketing where nothing goes to waste.

Maikel and Björgvin also are strategic thinkers whose insights benefit a client throughout a campaign’s creation. Maikel brings two decades of marketing creativity to the table; Björgvin’s extensive experience in building and evaluating companies means he knows how a campaign can work in the context of a business’s mission and profitability.
